Performance:

  • The Mortar Bomb is an in-water operation and is used for protection of ships and harbors against enemy frogmen.
  • The blast from the highly explosive composition creates a defeat effect within a 100 m radius and shock disorientation up to 300 m.
  • The aluminum body is plastic coated which guarantees much safer handling and storage of the ammunition;
  • The fin stabilizer is made of plastic for increasing the life of the tube of the Mortar weapon system.

 

This Mortar Bomb is fuzed with AF623 (Point detonating, super quick action, boresafe type, muzzle safety distance 40 m) fuze.

 

 

The Anti-Diver Mortar Bomb AD 60C is intended to be used with any type of smooth bore 60 mm Mortars of NATO Standard – such as COMMANDO Mortar M60CMA, M60MA, M2 and M19, BRANDT model 35, Tampella, Thompson Houston – Hotchkiss – Brandt Commando, M-57, M6H and M6C Hirtenberger, etc.
